Hyundai chief apologizes for scandal
INCHEON, South Korea (AP) - The head of Hyundai Motor Co. apologized Saturday for the trouble caused by allegations that his company created slush funds to bribe government officials. Hyundai Chairman Chung Mong-koo made the comments after returning to South Korea early Saturday from the United States. He was greeted at the airport by dozens of Hyundai officials who escorted him to a waiting vehicle.
